3.116.إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَن تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلاَ أَوْلاَدُهُم مِّنَ اللّهِ شَيْئاً وَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ

3.116. Quant aux infidèles, ni leurs richesses ni leurs enfants ne les protégeront du châtiment de Dieu. Ils seront voués à l'Enfer qui constituera leur demeure éternelle.

3.116 . Lo! the riches and the progeny of those who disbelieve will not avail them aught against Allah ; and such are rightful owners of the Fire . They will abide therein .

3.116. Inna allatheena kafaroo lan tughniya AAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahi shay-an waola-ika as-habu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona

3.117.مَثَلُ مَا يُنفِقُونَ فِي هِـذِهِ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٍ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللّهُ وَلَـكِنْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ

3.117. Les aumônes qu'ils font en ce monde sont semblables à des champs cultivés par des gens qui ont été injustes envers eux-mêmes, et qu'un vent glacial accompagné de grêle aurait frappés et ravagés. Ce n'est donc point Dieu qui a été injuste envers eux. Ce sont plutôt eux qui l'ont été envers eux-mêmes.

3.117 . The likeness of that which they spend in this life of the world is as the likeness of a biting , icy wind which smiteth the harvest of a people who have wronged themselves , and devastateth it . Allah wronged them not , but they did wrong themselves .

3.117. Mathalu ma yunfiqoona fee hathihi alhayati alddunya kamathali reehin feeha sirrun asabat hartha qawmin thalamoo anfusahum faahlakat-hu wama thalamahumu Allahu walakin anfusahum yathlimoona

3.118.يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ بِطَانَةً مِّن دُونِكُمْ لاَ يَأْلُونَكُمْ خَبَالاً وَدُّواْ مَا عَنِتُّمْ قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَاء مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِي صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الآيَاتِ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

3.118. Ô vous qui croyez ! Ne prenez pas de confidents en dehors de votre communauté, qui feraient tout pour vous corrompre, car rien ne leur ferait plus plaisir que de vous voir en difficulté. La haine qu'ils vous portent perce déjà dans leurs propos. Que dire alors de celle qu'ils cachent dans leurs cœurs? Vous voilà donc suffisamment avertis ! À vous d'en juger !

3.118 . O ye who believe! Take not for intimates others than your own folk , who would spare no pains to ruin you ; they love to hamper you . Hatred is revealed by ( the utterance of ) their mouths , but that which their breasts hide is greater . We have made plain for you the revelations if ye will understand .

3.118. Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo bitanatan min doonikum la ya/loonakum khabalan waddoo ma AAanittum qad badati albaghdao min afwahihim wama tukhfee sudooruhum akbaru qad bayyanna lakumu al-ayati in kuntum taAAqiloona

3.119.هَاأَنتُمْ أُوْلاء تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْكِتَابِ كُلِّهِ وَإِذَا لَقُوكُمْ قَالُواْ آمَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوْاْ عَضُّواْ عَلَيْكُمُ الأَنَامِلَ مِنَ الْغَيْظِ قُلْ مُوتُواْ بِغَيْظِكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ

3.119. Vous musulmans, vous les traitez en amis, alors qu'ils vous traitent en ennemis , et vous croyez au Livre dans sa totalité, pendant qu'eux, quand ils vous rencontrent, vous disent qu'ils sont eux aussi des croyants. Mais dès qu'ils se trouvent seuls, ils se mordent les doigts de colère contre vous. Dis-leur : «Puissiez-vous mourir de rage !» Dieu connaît si bien le fond de leur pensée.

3.119 . O ye are those who love them though they love you not , and ye believe in all the Scripture . When they fall in with you they say : We believe ; but when they go apart they bite their finger tips at you , for rage . Say : Perish in your rage! Lo! Allah is Aware of what is hidden in ( your ) breasts .

3.119. Ha antum ola-i tuhibboonahum wala yuhibboonakum watu/minoona bialkitabi kullihi wa-itha laqookum qaloo amanna wa-itha khalaw AAaddoo AAalaykumu al-anamila mina alghaythi qul mootoo bighaythikum inna Allaha AAaleemun bithati alssudoori

3.120.إِن تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِن تُصِبْكُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْرَحُواْ بِهَا وَإِن تَصْبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ لاَ يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئاً إِنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ

3.120. Le moindre bien qui vous arrive les afflige et tout mal qui vous atteint les remplit de joie. Mais si vous êtes patients et si vous craignez Dieu, leurs manœuvres ne vous causeront aucun tort, car Dieu cerne leurs agissements de toutes parts.

3.120 . If a lucky chance befall you , it is evil unto them , and if disaster strike you they rejoice thereat . But if ye persevere and keep from evil their guile will never harm you . Lo! Allah is Surrounding what they do .

3.120. In tamsaskum hasanatun tasu/hum wa-in tusibkum sayyi-atun yafrahoo biha wa-in tasbiroo watattaqoo la yadurrukum kayduhum shay-an inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona muheetun
