3.141.وَلِيُمَحِّصَ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَيَمْحَقَ الْكَافِرِينَ
3.141. C'est aussi un moyen pour Dieu de purifier par l'épreuve ceux qui ont cru et d'anéantir les infidèles.
3.141 . And that Allah may prove those who believe , and may blight the disbelievers .
3.141. Waliyumahhisa Allahu allatheena amanoo wayamhaqa alkafireena
3.142.أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ جَاهَدُواْ مِنكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّابِرِينَ
3.142. Pensiez-vous entrer au Paradis sans que Dieu ait jamais mis à l'épreuve la sincérité et l'endurance de ceux d'entre vous qui ont combattu pour Lui?
3.142 . Or deemed ye that ye would enter Paradise while yet Allah knoweth not those of you who really strive , nor knoweth those ( of you ) who are steadfast?
3.142. Am hasibtum an tadkhuloo aljannata walamma yaAAlami Allahu allatheena jahadoo minkum wayaAAlama alssabireena
3.143.وَلَقَدْ كُنتُمْ تَمَنَّوْنَ الْمَوْتَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَلْقَوْهُ فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُمُوهُ وَأَنتُمْ تَنظُرُونَ
3.143. Vous souhaitiez tant la mort avant de la rencontrer. Et vous l'avez bien vue, de vos propres yeux.
3.143 . And verily ye used to wish for death before ye met it ( in the field ) . Now ye have seen it with your eyes!
3.143. Walaqad kuntum tamannawna almawta min qabli an talqawhu faqad raaytumoohu waantum tanthuroona
3.144.وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلاَّ رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ أَفَإِن مَّاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ وَمَن يَنقَلِبْ عَلَىَ عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَن يَضُرَّ اللّهَ شَيْئاً وَسَيَجْزِي اللّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَ
3.144. Muhammad n'est qu'un Prophète parmi tant d'autres qui sont passés avant lui. Seriez-vous hommes à abandonner le combat, s'il venait à mourir ou à être tué? Ceux qui abandonnent le combat ne nuisent en rien à Dieu. Mais Dieu saura récompenser ceux qui sont reconnaissants.
3.144 . Muhammad is but a messenger , messengers ( the like of whom ) have passed away before him . Will it be that , when he dieth or is slain , ye will turn back on your heels? He who turneth back doth no hurt to Allah , and Allah will reward the thankful .
3.144. Wama muhammadun illa rasoolun qad khalat min qablihi alrrusulu afa-in mata aw qutila inqalabtum AAala aAAqabikum waman yanqalib AAala AAaqibayhi falan yadurra Allaha shay-an wasayajzee Allahu alshshakireena
3.145.وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ تَمُوتَ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ الله كِتَاباً مُّؤَجَّلاً وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الآخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِرِينَ
3.145. Aucune âme ne peut quitter cette vie sans la permission de Dieu et en dehors du terme fixé. Celui qui recherche sa récompense dans ce monde, Nous la lui accorderons , celui qui désire obtenir la sienne dans la vie future, Nous la lui accorderons. Mais Nous traiterons avec faveur les âmes reconnaissantes.
3.145 . No soul can ever die except by Allah ' s leave and at a term appointed . Whoso desireth the reward of the world , We bestow on him thereof ; and whoso desireth the reward of the Hereafter , thankful . We bestow on him thereof . We shall reward the
