52.26.قَالُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبْلُ فِي أَهْلِنَا مُشْفِقِينَ
52.26. «Jadis, diront-ils, nous vivions dans la contrition parmi les nôtres.
52.26 . Saying : Lo! of old , when we were with our families , we were ever anxious ;
52.26. Qaloo inna kunna qablu fee ahlina mushfiqeena
52.27.فَمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ
52.27. Aussi Dieu S'est-Il montré Bienveillant à notre égard, en nous préservant du supplice de l'Enfer !
52.27 . But Allah hath been gracious unto us and hath preserved us from the torment of the breath of Fire .
52.27. Famanna Allahu AAalayna wawaqana AAathaba alssamoomi
52.28.إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبْلُ نَدْعُوهُ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْبَرُّ الرَّحِيمُ
52.28. Nous ne cessions, jadis, de L'invoquer, car Il est Plein de bonté et de clémence !»
52.28 . Lo! we used to pray unto Him of old . Lo! He is the Benign , the Merciful .
52.28. Inna kunna min qablu nadAAoohu innahu huwa albarru alrraheemu
52.29.فَذَكِّرْ فَمَا أَنتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍ وَلَا مَجْنُونٍ
52.29. Prêche donc, car, par la grâce de ton Seigneur, tu n'es ni un devin ni un possédé !
52.29 . Therefor warn ( men , O Muhammad ) . By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman .
52.29. Fathakkir fama anta biniAAmati rabbika bikahin wala majnoonin
52.30.أَمْ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرٌ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهِ رَيْبَ الْمَنُونِ
52.30. S'ils disent : «C'est un poète. Attendons que la mort nous en débarrasse !»
52.30 . Or say they : ( he is ) a poet , ( one ) for whom we may expect the accident of time?
52.30. Am yaqooloona shaAAirun natarabbasu bihi rayba almanooni
