53.21.أَلَكُمُ الذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ الْأُنثَى
53.21. Auriez-vous ainsi des enfants mâles , et Dieu, seulement des filles?
53.21 . Are yours the males and His the females?
53.21. Alakumu alththakaru walahu al-ontha
53.22.تِلْكَ إِذاً قِسْمَةٌ ضِيزَى
53.22. Ne voilà-t-il pas un partage des plus iniques?
53.22 . That indeed were an unfair division!
53.22. Tilka ithan qismatun deeza
53.23.إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا أَسْمَاء سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُم مَّا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَانٍ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى الْأَنفُسُ وَلَقَدْ جَاءهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ الْهُدَى
53.23. En vérité, ce ne sont là que des noms que vous avez inventés, vous et vos ancêtres, et que Dieu n'a investis d'aucune autorité. En réalité, les idolâtres ne font que suivre leurs conjectures et leurs caprices, alors que la bonne voie leur a bien été tracée par leur Seigneur.
53.23 . They are but names which ye have named , ye and your fathers , for which Allah hath revealed no warrant . They follow but a guess and that which ( they ) themselves desire . And now the guidance from their Lord hath come unto them .
53.23. In hiya illa asmaon sammaytumooha antum waabaokum ma anzala Allahu biha min sultanin in yattabiAAoona illa alththanna wama tahwa al-anfusu walaqad jaahum min rabbihimu alhuda
53.24.أَمْ لِلْإِنسَانِ مَا تَمَنَّى
53.24. L'homme aurait-il le droit de choisir sa divinité à sa guise?
53.24 . Or shall man have what he coveteth?
53.24. Am lil-insani ma tamanna
53.25.فَلِلَّهِ الْآخِرَةُ وَالْأُولَى
53.25. Mais la vie future et la vie présente n'appartiennent qu'au Seigneur.
53.25 . But unto Allah belongeth the after ( life ) , and the former .
53.25. Falillahi al-akhiratu waal-oola
