20.36.قَالَ قَدْ أُوتِيتَ سُؤْلَكَ يَا مُوسَى

20.36. Dieu dit alors : «Ta prière est exaucée, ô Moïse !

20.36 . He said : Thou art granted thy request , O Moses .

20.36. Qala qad ooteeta su/laka ya moosa

20.37.وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَيْكَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى

20.37. Nous t'avons déjà favorisé une première fois,

20.37 . And indeed , another time , already We have shown thee favor ,

20.37. Walaqad mananna AAalayka marratan okhra

20.38.إِذْ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى أُمِّكَ مَا يُوحَى

20.38. quand Nous avons inspiré à ta mère ce qui suit :

20.38 . When We inspired in thy mother that which is inspired ,

20.38. Ith awhayna ila ommika ma yooha

20.39.أَنِ اقْذِفِيهِ فِي التَّابُوتِ فَاقْذِفِيهِ فِي الْيَمِّ فَلْيُلْقِهِ الْيَمُّ بِالسَّاحِلِ يَأْخُذْهُ عَدُوٌّ لِّي وَعَدُوٌّ لَّهُ وَأَلْقَيْتُ عَلَيْكَ مَحَبَّةً مِّنِّي وَلِتُصْنَعَ عَلَى عَيْنِي

20.39. “Mets ton fils dans un coffret et laisse ce dernier flotter sur les eaux qui le rejetteront sur le rivage. Là, un ennemi à Moi et à lui le recueillera.” Car, par un effet de Ma bonté, J'avais inspiré aux hommes de l'amitié pour toi, afin que tu fusses élevé sous Ma garde.

20.39 . Saying : Throw him into the ark , and throw it into the river , then the river shall throw it on to the bank , and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him . And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will ,

20.39. Ani iqthifeehi fee alttabooti faiqthifeehi fee alyammi falyulqihi alyammu bialssahili ya/khuthhu AAaduwwun lee waAAaduwwun lahu waalqaytu AAalayka mahabbatan minnee walitusnaAAa AAala AAaynee

20.40.إِذْ تَمْشِي أُخْتُكَ فَتَقُولُ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَن يَكْفُلُهُ فَرَجَعْنَاكَ إِلَى أُمِّكَ كَيْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ وَقَتَلْتَ نَفْساً فَنَجَّيْنَاكَ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَفَتَنَّاكَ فُتُوناً فَلَبِثْتَ سِنِينَ فِي أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَى قَدَرٍ يَا مُوسَى

20.40. Puis vint à passer ta sœur qui dit : “Voudriez-vous que je vous indique une personne qui prendra soin de cet enfant?” Et c'est ainsi que Nous t'avons rendu à ta mère, pour qu'elle se consolât et qu'elle cessât de s'affliger. Puis tu as tué un homme. Nous t'avons alors sauvé des craintes qui t'oppressaient, mais Nous t'avons soumis à de multiples épreuves. Et tu as vécu ensuite durant des années parmi les habitants de Madyan. Puis tu es venu ici, ô Moïse, en vertu d'un arrêt prédestiné !

20.40 . When thy sister went and said : Shall I show you one who will nurse him? and We restored thee to thy mother that her eyes might be refreshed and might not sorrow . And thou didst kill a man and We delivered thee from great distress , and tried thee with a heavy trial . And thou didst tarry years among the folk of Midian . Then comest thou ( hither ) by ( My ) providence , O Moses ,

20.40. Ith tamshee okhtuka fataqoolu hal adullukum AAala man yakfuluhu farajaAAnaka ila ommika kay taqarra AAaynuha wala tahzana waqatalta nafsan fanajjaynaka mina alghammi wafatannaka futoonan falabithta sineena fee ahli madyana thumma ji/ta AAala qadarin ya moosa
