50.36.وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشاً فَنَقَّبُوا فِي الْبِلَادِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ
50.36. Que de peuples qui leur étaient supérieurs en puissance n'avons-Nous pas anéantis avant eux ! Ils avaient pourtant vainement cherché un refuge pour échapper à leur sort.
50.36 . And how many a generation We destroyed before them , who were mightier than these in prowess so that they overran the lands! Had they any place of refuge ( when the judgment came ) ?
50.36. Wakam ahlakna qablahum min qarnin hum ashaddu minhum batshan fanaqqaboo fee albiladi hal min maheesin
50.37.إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَذِكْرَى لِمَن كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ
50.37. Il y a là, en vérité, un rappel pour quiconque sait raisonner, entendre la leçon et la retenir.
50.37 . Lo! therein verily is a reminder for him who hath a heart , or giveth ear with full intelligence . .
50.37. Inna fee thalika lathikra liman kana lahu qalbun aw alqa alssamAAa wahuwa shaheedun
50.38.وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍ
50.38. Nous avons créé les Cieux, la Terre et les espaces interstellaires en six jours, sans avoir ressenti la moindre lassitude.
50.38 . And verily We created the heavens and the earth , and all that is between them , in six days , and naught of weariness touched Us .
50.38. Walaqad khalaqna alssamawati waal-arda wama baynahuma fee sittati ayyamin wama massana min lughoobin
50.39.فَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ
50.39. Supporte donc avec patience ce qu'ils disent et célèbre les louanges de ton Seigneur avant le lever et le coucher du soleil !
50.39 . Therefor ( O Muhammad ) bear with what they say : and hymn the praise of thy Lord before the rising and before the setting of the sun ;
50.39. Faisbir AAala ma yaqooloona wasabbih bihamdi rabbika qabla tulooAAi alshshamsi waqabla alghuroobi
50.40.وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَأَدْبَارَ السُّجُودِ
50.40. Glorifie-Le une partie de la nuit et à la fin de chaque prière !
50.40 . And in the night time hymn His praise : And after the ( prescribed ) prostrations .
50.40. Wamina allayli fasabbihhu waadbara alssujoodi
